Izzy (Blair From Camilland's) and her owner, Anikó rocked again! They attended to the annual dog-dancing championship this year and they won the 2nd place and became reserve National Champions! We're so proud of you two! Well done, girls! :) Time is still flying really fast and Novel has already turned a half year old. He's still a little rascal, but we're getting along better and better with time. I got used to handle him and he also learned to understand our way of living. He's developing so quickly and learning everything so fast, that I can barely keep up with him. Soon we'll start the serious trainings, but till then we just enjoy his puppy time. And did I mention what a handsome lad he is? :)
This trial in Austria was a challenging one with tricky field and sheep. We managed to have two nice runs under these conditions: one with 73/100, and another with 88/110 points.
In the end, Meggy won the 3rd place in Open class among 21 dogs! I'm really proud of her! :) Judge: Tim Longton (GB) After last year, we decided to attend to this trial again, as we enjoyed it so much the previous time. Meggy was terrific, especially in the final! I'm so happy, because she did an amazing job and showed that she can be a hard worker, if it's needed. I'm really proud of her!
She won the 3rd place in her qualification group, then she won the 4th place in the final! :) Judges: Martin O'Malley and Michael William Hynes from Ireland I was invited to hold a three day long herding seminar in Lithuania, nearby the capitol. It was an amazing experience for me! I had the chance to meet wonderful people and some really good dogs (both border collies and other breeds), whom with it was great to work with. I want to thank the invitation and the hospitality to Agne and Audrone - without you, it wouldn't have been possible. Thank you for everything! :) See you next time!
Also, we got the chance to meet with our Di (Derry from Camilland's), who developed into a handsome and charming boy. He was more than patient with his Hungarian family, he enjoyed their company. :) Thanks to his owner, Agne, we went full tourist mode and visited some parts of this beautiful country. We've never been there and it was a really pleasant surprise, how wonderful this country is, and how kind the Lithuanian people are. It was just a blink of an eye and he's already became 4 months old. :) He's such a smart, lovely boy, who loves cuddling and sleeping in my bed - of course. He still can be an annoying pest for our other dogs, but they started to accept the fact that he's staying with us. As a celebration, I took Novel to a small visit in Budapest, just to get him used to the city. I didn't expect him to behave this well. He walked in the crowds and travelled with the public transports like he would have always been a big city dog. I was so proud of him! We also went hiking to the nearby mountains, which he took so well. And here are a few photos from the last months:
The baby boy is already 11 weeks old! We enjoy every day with him, it's a neverending adventure to have him here with us. :) Two weeks ago, he came along when I brought the sheep home, it was so cool to see him showing his pure instinct for the first time. Video is here: After several years of planning and waiting, he's finally here! Let me introduce our newest family member, Novel, who came all the way from France. Thanks to the breeder, Sabine, for her trust in us! We're so looking forward to our life together with the little rascal :) Novel already has his own page, check it out here. While we were at Sabine's place, we had the chance to train a bit with Meggy. Photos were taken by Miikku Pietilä, thank you so much! :) So proud of my dogs again! We had a really hot Sunday at the Spring Trial in Nemti.
Meggy won the 1st place in class 3 with 96/110 points - with such an amazing work! And Beta also did a relatively nice run, coming in as the 5th! :) Judge: Synve Lundgren (Austria) As the puppies of our D litter are past 1 year old, the health screenings are on their way. We're proud to announce, that so far, everything looks good! :)
